Speed monitoring

Due to concerns of speeding in the area, Waddesdon Neighbourhood Team conducted a speed monitoring operation today between 13:00 and 13:30 on Winchendon Road. A total number of 34 vehicles passed us during this time coming into the village, well within the 30mph speed limit. 

15 vehicles were travelling at 30mph and under. 

6 vehicles were travelling between 31 and 34mph. 

5 vehicles were travelling between 35 and 37mph. 

6 vehicles were travelling between 38 and 40mph. 

2 vehicles were travelling between 41 and 44mph. 

These results are clearly concerning in relation to road safety and we will continue to conduct speed checks in the area as much as we can, giving strong words of advice and ticketing those travelling at speed.
